Case study: Victoria Court nursing home, Carrickfergus

We received this fantastic appraisal from one of our customers after the installation of the revolutionary Heatese system.

Bluebuild are delighted to be involved in selling and installing the system throughout Ireland and the UK for Heatese Innovations International Ltd.

Kind regards
Stuart Laing
UK & Ireland Development Manager

“I am Graham Duffy owner of Victoria Court, a 26,000 sq ft, 50 bedroomed luxury nursing home in Carrickfergus. When we acquired the home in 2020 it was a priority to replace the existing heating system as it was inefficient, costly, and unreliable. In researching the market for an efficient energy saving product I discovered BlueBuild could supply me with 5 x 17 kw Heatese Boiler system to replace the 2 x 112kw
condenser boiler System which provided a good fit for my needs.

The boiler has been up and running for over a year now and we are delighted the savings of excess of 51% in gas consumption and in excess of 17% in electrical consumption over the same period. We have the required data to prove these savings together with the corresponding reduction in carbon emissions with increased warmth and hot water for our residents. We calculate that the payback of the Heatese Heating Systems, and the Installation costs would be 3.5 years. This product has exceeded our expectations and as a result we will be looking to roll the system out over our other nursing homes.

I would highly recommend this system to any organisation as it reduces costs and carbon emissions dramatically whilst delivering heating, hot water and comfort with efficiency.”

Case study: Navan Georgian residence

Property details:  6,000 square foot, 32 Radiators, 250 ltr water for domestic water and uninsulated Georgian residence

Previous boiler operating conditions: Running five hours per day

Energy bills prior to HEATESE: 12L of oil per hour at €7.20 per hour (@60cent per litre)

HEATESE system installed: 32 radiators, 250L hot water cylinder

Energy use with HEATESE: 1.5L of oil per hour at €0.90 per hour @60 cent per litre

Saving per hour: €6.30 or 87.5%

Savings per week: €220.50

Instead of heating the property for 5 hours, it can be constantly heated for 24 hours a day for €21.60 a fraction of the previous cost.  Existing system would have cost €172.80 per day.

Installation of a Heatese Heating System at Hemyock Healthy Living Centre, Devon in 2020

“The Healthy Living Centre is a community facility for residents and the wider community based in the large village of Hemyock. The centre has facilities for treatments (such as physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics), hosts keep fit and yoga classes, and village social events.

Running alongside these facilities, is a specialist day care room for the elderly of the parish, which has a kitchen providing hot meals each weekday. The parish council identified the need to reduce the running cost of the building, whilst maintaining a comfortable environment. As such, one of the main issues identified early on was the cost of heating the building.

The existing heating system, was firstly that the two existing 35kW Combi boilers were not effective in heating the building to the required temperature, in particular the day care room had to have additional electric heaters during the winter period. It was also determined that a change of fuel was required because of the cost of the current LPG arrangement.

A Heatese 18kW Heating System was installed in early 2020 replacing the 70kW of original boilers (2 x 35kW) alongside a new 300ltr store acting as a buffer and a hot water supply for the kitchens and toilets. 6 additional Heatese convectors were installed on their own circuit and on the one of the existing circuits two small radiators added to the kitchen area where previously there was no heating at all.

The result has been that for the first time the Centre is reaching the required temperatures and continued doing so until the enforced closure due to COVID-19 at the end of March, at that time the Heatese Heating System was achieving its fuel saving goal. We hope to have better figures for the winter of 2021 when the Centre should return to normal operation.

The Heatese Heating System was part of a series of forward-thinking energy saving measures that the Parish Council undertook with NuVision Energy Ltd including a PV system for reduction on electric consumption and a SolarVenti solar warm air ventilation system which both helps reduce the heating consumption but also dehumidifies the building while providing filtered fresh air.

Testimonials

“Having now fitted several HEATESE Systems to a variety of properties both commercial and residential, I can confirm the savings made are typically in excess of 80%.  In one case 2 HEATESE units were installed in a 10,000 sqft property with a large swimming pool and 2,000sft of underfloor heating surrounding the pool and leisure area.  The HEATESE System replaced 2 boilers which combined a total of 190kw, these were replaced by 2 HEATESE Heating Systems with a total of 37kw.  With the customer reporting approximately 80% saving in oil usage and running their heating for longer periods of time each day, creating a warmer more comfortable property.   Another example was a commercial property where a single 18kw HEATESE Heating System powering 4 commercial convector radiator fans which is now replacing a 250kw oil fired warm air blower.  Again, the customer reported running their heating system for longer with in excess of 80% savings over their previous fuel usage.  I have personal experience of numerous installations where very real savings are being achieved and would highly recommend the HEATESE product to anyone interested in saving energy.”

“I have experienced the new heating system produced by HEATESE. It is heating a 6,000 sq ft house using less than 1.5 litres of oil per hour”
